Our lab studies how deregulation of growth control and cell cycle progression leads to cancer development. We are particularly interested in understanding how the dysregulation in RNA modifications leads to the translation of mRNAs encoding tumorigenic proteins. We are located in the vibrant Texas Medical Center, which is one of the best and largest research center in the world with state of the art facilities and infrastructure.
